Bergen - Norway

Bergen is the second largest city in Norway with a population of 259,100 as of July 3, 2010. Bergen is the administrative centre of Hordaland county. Greater Bergen or Bergen Metropolitan Area as defined by Statistics Norway, has a population of 380,600 as of July 3, 2010. Bergen is located in the county of Hordaland on the south-western coast of Norway. It is an important cultural hub in its region, recognized as the unofficial capital of Western Norway and sometimes also referred to as the Atlantic coast capital of Norway. the city was one of nine European cities honoured with the title of European Capital of Culture in the Millennium year. How to get here:
- by train (Oslo - Bergen train Bergensbanen, you can order tickets on NSB. Ticket prices can start from 199 Nok (~24 euros) if bought on time or can go up to 700 NOK (~86 euros) or even more);
- or by air (Flesland Airport).
I have no car so I have no idea how to get to Bergen by car ... try google map :)

Remember: Bergen is in Norway. Norwegian rule: everything is very expensive. This rule applies to Bergen too :) So bring a lot of money! Also because of it's location it rains a lot. So bring an umbrella!

The first 45 pictures were taken from a moving train, train which goes incredibly fast even when it's high up in the mountains. So quality could be better ... please have mercy with the critics :)
