Most Dangerous Airports in the World- MS FSX

Although this website is more about photography it also includes some of my other hobbies - and one of those is flying and MS Flight Simulator. Here I will try to add a few missions create by me for MS FSX, missions in which you will have to do some approaches and landings on some of the most dangerous airports in the world.

1. Lukla approach - FSX Mission

The first mission created more as a test will be a training flight in Nepal. You will take off from Bhojpur aiport, land on 2 small airfields (Lamidada and Rumjatar) and then head to Lukla airport. Your copilot will give you a lot of informations about the area and the airports where you will land.

Tenzing-Hillary Airport, also known as Lukla Airport, is a small airport in the town of Lukla, in Khumbu, Solukhumbu district, Sagarmatha zone, eastern Nepal. A program entitled Most Extreme Airports broadcast on The History Channel in 2010, rated the airport as the most dangerous airport in the World. In January 2008, the airport was renamed in honor of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first persons to reach the summit of Mount Everest and also to mark their efforts in the construction of this airport.

You can watch here a short video about landing at Lukla:

The mission was created using Plan-G and FSX Mission Editor.

Very important: the mission was created using the Aerosoft - Lukla X - Mount Everst scenario. Do not try to fly the mission without installing this scenario. In the original FSX the Lukla airport does not exist and you will "land" into a mountain. The scenario can be downloaded here.

The mission itself can be found here. Have a good flight and please comment if you liked it or want more.
You will find the mission under "Challenges" - "Fly from Bhojpur to Lukla, Nepal".
